Meet Pikmin, small, plantlike creatures you can grow, pluck, guide, and send into battle with enemies multiple times their size! These loyal, curious helpers come in different types, including fire-resistant Red Pikmin and brand-new Ice Pikmin. The fate of your Pikmin is yours to decide—will you carefully avoid danger or rush into situations despite potential...losses?

Create your own explorer and navigate a big planet from a pint-sized perspective
Customize your look then embark on a journey to find and rescue fellow explorers. Traverse a world that seems larger than life as you see everyday objects like plants, benches, and pots tower over your explorer and Pikmin. Revisit these diverse areas at night and use brand-new Glow Pikmin to light the way forward...just watch out for berserk wildlife.

Go explorer vs. explorer in Dandori Battles
In the world of the Pikmin 4 game, explorers like to get in on some friendly competition. Throughout the story you’ll encounter characters itching to compete in Dandori Battles—see who can collect the most objects within the time limit. Gathering plenty of Pikmin to carry even more treasure is a key part of Dandori Battle strategy. You can also face off in Dandori Battles on the same system against a friend or family member, with more stages to play as the story progresses.

If a large group of Pikmin becomes a tasty treat for a hungry creature, use the Rewind Time feature to correct your mistake. Of course, this can also be used for less disastrous mistakes or to simply try a different approach.

Get some extra help from another player who can toss pebbles at enemies and use items in the main campaign.

You get a space dog, too! Oatchi (pronounced oat-chee), resident good boy and dependable partner, can help with things like smashing obstacles and carrying you and your Pikmin throughout your adventure. With the miniscule Pikmin and a capable canine in tow, no challenge is too big!

Think I’ll wait for the free demo to come out next week before pre-ordering, just in case

Do currys take payment on dispatch or order?
    Diabolik88's avatar
I should know this seeing I pre-ordered TotK from Currys so I’ll say 99% sure they take payment on order rather than despatch.

Ooh very tempting, are Curry’s any good at delivering on release days ?
    GamerFirebird90's avatar
Usually DPD next day, I always get mine on release day before 3pm.

Has anyone managed to buy this recently? Can’t get it to payment. It keeps asking me to select a delivery slot but it doesn’t provide one, also doesn’t allow collection. Tried on phone, iPad, computer and different browsers, all same results (edited)

    Got the same issue.

Damnnn that is a brill price. Hoping Amazon price matches.

Yep, it’ll turn up in better condition from Amazon, cardboard vs lobbed in a plastic bag is always the way to go. I hope The Game Collection price match though.

Okay price but I would have expected a 25% discount from Currys seeing loads of other retailers are doing this title at around £42.90

You're complaining that this is the best price so far?

£40 day one release for a Switch game seems pretty good, I’ve ordered thank you.

Are you a casual fan or newcomer?
  8. kieran.gallagher's avatar
Casuals who want the full game after enjoying the demo, this is a reasonable price

Hardcore fans will get this with preorder bonuses though (edited)

I mean the phone holder is cute but not worth the extra £10 imo. You do you tho

Has anybody used this today? Looks like they might have removed the offer as it doesn't accept the code at checkout.
    MrManwelo's avatar
I could never get it to work, but now looks like they've removed the code entirely
