Very decent Butchers paper if you wrap your Ribs, Briskets etc when doing lo&slo, description says refill roll for dispenser, but I just store it as it comes with no need for dispenser.

Also the 225ft x 18 inch being sold on the page (slightly wider) works out at the same price per feet 15p as this Total shipped £33.96

Good quality paper wide enough for wrapping baby back or spare ribs, just lay 2 pieces side by side overlapping for brisket or st louis style ribs

  • TENDER MEAT: Say goodbye to tough meat! Wrap your brisket, steaks, ribs, and more while smoking in our pink butcher paper to help meats reach their optimum temps faster, remain juicy, and get that deliciously smoky and crunchy, Texas crutch-style bark.
  • FOOD GRADE, SMOKER SAFE: Non-toxic and smoker safe! Approved for direct food contact, our pink butcher paper holds juices in while still letting steam escape, making it the perfect choice for smoking meats.
  • HEAVY-DUTY: No more wimpy paper! Our high-grade butcher paper fibers provide superior strength that won't fall apart when soaked in oil or food juices, making it ideal for Texas Style BBQ.
  • UNWAXED: Wax coatings meant to strengthen paper can seep into meats and effect their flavor. Don't compromise! Our pink butcher paper is 100% uncoated, able to withstand moisture and heat while preserving the taste of your meat.
  • RUSTIC LOOK - For the BBQ enthusiast, taste is what matters most, but that doesn’t mean presentation has to go out the window. Every Smoked BBQ meal that cooks for that long deserves an enticing presentation; either as a rustic table cover at a backyard BBQ or as a unique tray liner at a local BBQ joint. Meat Hugger’s Pink (or Peach, depending on the person) Butcher Paper will elevate any occasion with its application.

What are the benefits for using this paper over foil? And what’s it’s best uses if anybody knows please?

Foil tends to steam the meat you've wrapped it in and can soften the bark or pull it away from the meat when you unwrap it. But if you like to add a broth or liquid to the meat when wrapping, then foil is the way to go, or in my case a large drip pan with foil over the top.

For this paper as an example, I like to wrap the ribs in this after around 3 hours and add some brown sugar, honey and a few pats of butter then wrap them and put them back on the grill for another 60-90 minutes, before unwrapping them again putting them back on the grill and adding the sauce for the final 30 minutes.

The paper absorbs a lot of the juices and keep the ribs moist, and tends not to damage them and helps them to get past the stall. If you chose just to wrap them with nothing else added , the bark stays firm and crusty on the meat

I personally only wrap meat in foil and a few tea towels when resting in a cool box for a few hours after cooking, (edited)

I bought this one on 17th May for £24.74. In hindsight, I should have posted on here. Cheers SOTV

If you do more full size packer Briskets or St Louis ribs, you can get 30" wide Butchers paper (never used it myself) as I prefer the 17-18" width paper. BBQ Land doing 30" by 150ft for £36.90 delivered bbqland.co.uk/pro…er?
