We're on our (Richard the) third seat after one cover split. Other than that, by far the easiest fit ever and so easy to clip off and give it all a wash in the bath/shower

I wonder how many seats are sold online and in DIY stores under different brand names but are the same.
Bought one off Amazon with great reviews and spotted same one in B&Q
Heads up
Look at the hinge setup.
Some close couple seats won't stand up depending on hinge design and distance to flush box.
Our hinge is visible so seat is forward.
Hidden hinge design the seat won't stay up as seat is set back on some toilets (edited)

Amazing that the designers believe that 90 to 100 degrees should be the angle the seat self lowers at.

I’m not sure I understand the last point - this is soft close, and omg is it the slowest closer I’ve ever known.

And can I just say that the build quality is s-turd-y 🤪

We've got 2 very similar to this and there is no way I paid anywhere near 23 quid for them , I know this as I am too tight to spend that much on a bog seat

Love that in the 5th picture it says it has a 'High Load Capacity' and in the description for style it says 'Noisy, Adjustable' perfect loo seat

If anybody has found a seat that doesn't come loose after 6 months and then can't be retightened without breaking then id be happy to pay good money.

We seem to have to change seats every year or so

I recently bought 3 from Wicks for £10 each and they are proper hard plastic, not polypropylene. These look like really cheap seats at a high price. Just another example of Amazon frequently being overpriced but the ignorant still vote hot on HUKD. (edited)

Soft close as well? I mean I can honestly say I’ve had to buy a new toilet seat twice in my life, I’m quite proud to be pretty ignorant of the cost of them
