I've not had this one, only the whole bird. Really tasty, and perfect in my rotisserie airfryer. I might sow this bad boy back together and treat him to a spin.

The chicken Farmfoods deal for 1 to 1.3kg , rotisserie in air fryer 1hour at 200C lovely and brown and moist far better value.

It's mad how this can be this cheap. What do the farms make out of this, surely not £1-2 profit ?

the honour of raising these birds is reward enough for the farmers. We're not so crass as to discuss money with them oh no. /s

I am not a vegetarian but it makes me think about the value that we put on the life of animals. It has been reared, housed, etc then killed, packaged, sold on, moved logistically and with a profit made for £2.65. The poor little thing was probably miserable every day of its short life.

Loss leader. A deal to get you in store to do the rest of your shopping. They will be losing money here.

How do you know this chicken was poor? It may have won the lottery at some stage or had a good job.
