    This is CPC Farnell brand. Have a look on their site. They usually sell cheaper than Amazon, but unfortunately, they charge a handling fee. Which often kills a good price. Unless you buy over £20+VAT or something around that price. Hence, sometimes, even if they may be more expensive on Amazon, you still get away cheaper because there is no handling fee.
    I've got a Pro Elect 8 ways, individual switch and surge protected. But it is 2m. All my important devices are plugged in it, no problems. I don't remember if I've got it from CPC or Amazon.

    Here is one after a quick search. I've not looked if it is surge protected

    Bought a load of these at my last place. Most failed within a few months, the switches aren't very robust. Ok if you turn them off once, if they are for regular use then go for something more sturdy.

    Had similar experience of poor quality on the switches on these although bought about 4 a few years ago when cpc were selling so could be different production now.
    Taken to marking them with a red permanent pen which ones are knackered there are so many.

    Good prices (although don't appear to be reduced) on their surge versions e.g £6.99 for 3m double. That's nearly half price of Extrastar version so picked up a couple. Thanks OP
