I very very carefully followed the t&c’s.
Cashback declined. Bonus declined.
Then they have the audacity to send an email saying “sorry your Cashback has been declined, make another purchase and we’ll give you a couple of quid”
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Sorry Quidco, you’ve morphed into an outright scam since moneysupermarket bought you out.
Falling for your scammy offers has literally left me out of pocket.
The Cashback industry has turned rotten.
For the most part Quidco has honoured my bonuses.
You need to remember that there is a cashback part (paid by the retailer confirming the purchase), and a bonus part (paid by Quidco directly once the retailer has confirmed the cashback part).
If the retailer doesn't confirm the purchase, you'll never get the bonus. Some retailers are better than others unfortunately...but I wouldn't blame Quidco for this personally.
The problem is people don't do it right, but won't admit it, and wag their fingers elsewhere instead.
Both sites always work for me.
Made a complaint direct to the merchant involved and they sorted it and paid me within 10 minutes.
Where there's schemes, there's often schemers.
Always worth chasing up declines.
May just be a mistake. 😏
They’ve told me it’s because Asda gave me a substitution, which changed the metadata
Completely out of my control.
Given how foreseeable that is, that they understand it and yet not specific within the T&Cs I’ve also concluded some of these promos are nothing short of misadvertised scams.
Maybe the retailer will because you did something wrong.

Looking at almost 5 months to become payable, but my last one was showing as just over 11 months - Toby Carvery.
Tracked very quickly and giftcard almost instantly.
I'll use this anyway, so a no-brainer.
Good luck all and thanks OP.
Also I have to agree these bonuses are the pits. I've got so many still pending, for months and months and I've kinda lost track of how I got some of them. So if they do get declined, it's going to be a bit of a pain appealing.
My nowtv cashback had also been declined. Will only be using TCB from now on. (edited)
Worth a punt if you're buying something anyway, so it won't matter when it inevitably gets declined for no reason.
CDKeys have €10 Steam gift cards for £8.99 which translates to £8.85 in Steam credit, which I will use in a future Steam sale - discounts on Steam credit are very rare and some games/DLC are Steam store exclusive meaning this is the only way to get a discount.
I’ve always found CDKeys to be very reliable to track but take about 4 months to pay.
Do you have a link for the steam gift voucher / credit, I can see a 10 euro one that works out at around £8.90, (edited)
But and a big BUT, it must be paid for financial or contract based purchases.
That's from the Ombudsman, not my words.
Any declines, go straight to the merchant and raise a mis-selling complaint.
I've done it many, many times and won every single one.
Quidco may be different to Topcashback regarding their status. Topcashback for example are only classed as an introducer and it's the Principal, the company, who is fully responsible for their affiliated introducer.
Quidco needs checking out as they may have full status. If so, then a direct complaint to them.
Since 2015.. good payouts in the early days
I think Quidco is a bit hit and miss, my December bonuses have been paid already but January one was declined although I followed everything to a T.
I was already buying a item anyway, I don't expect cashback to be paid and if it does then it's a bonus.
