    It's a bit less than the Xbox Series X however games installing takes a bit less space unless you install COD, however you can buy an Nvme SDD and put in the expansion slot, these are relatively alot cheaper now, you can also plug an old external HDD in the back and use for playing PS4 games off and PS5 cold storage of games.     If you want games then sub to PS+ Extra for 12 months via buying top-up funds from Shopto as it works out cheaper then adding to your playstation account and buying that sub with those funds.

    Disc edition makes more sense because you can get really cheap deals on physical games from CeX, eBay etc.

    Decent price. No games. Everyone still playing the same old fortnight and gta on previous gen, so no-one really online. This generation won’t take off until gta 6 is released and you’ll be able to pick it up with a console for about £300 by then.

    Apart from a handful of games that Sony detailed at launch, all PS4 games work on PS5. Whether the handful of games now work, I'm not sure. But the chances of you having those ones are probably slim to non.

    Anyone found a way to fix stick drift on dual sense controllers? Mine is suffering but not sure what the solution is.

    In my experience the Dualsense suffers bad stick drift my day one controller just started doing it so thought I'd try and trade it in at CEX before it got worse, unfortunately they picked up on it and won't take it. My Black controller has severe stick drift making it unusable, I can temporarily fix both controllers with WD 40 Electrical contact cleaner(not regular WD40) by spraying it into the stick, however this only works for 20-30mins or so before it returns.

    A much harder fix is to dismantle but I've never tried that, if it's still in the 12 month warranty return it for a repair.

    My son asked for the Spider-Man PS5 for Christmas, which is pre-ordered, but the price of it is hard to stomach in comparison to a £400 standard disc model. Even factoring in £70 to buy Spider-Man 2, it's still £100 more for some fancy plates and a controller. If it was for myself, I could never justify it. (edited)

    Edit I completely misread your post I thought you talking about games so ignore below! I'm sure the usual places would have discounts on the digital console but the disc version sells better, so not sure on the price drops.


    If I needed to buy a digital game possibly cheaper than any sales from the UK PS store cdkeys have odd games often cheaper working from a US account.

    However since the introduction of PS+ Extra subscription which in my opinion is better than Gamepass I just play those games which have plenty of top AAA games available even if they're not day one. (edited)
