Prefer to wait for this to be 1.50 per litre before buying as I have a bottle at the moment. Aldi do deals every so often for Pura sunflower at 1.50 per litre. Not sure if there's a difference in the best before dates , but I have a hunch morrisons could sell at 1.50 per litre and still make a healthy margin but their private equity onwers would rather squeeze an extra 20p per litre out of us.

Is an extra pound over 5 litres the end of the world? Probably not, but im just sick to the teeth of British shoppers being taken for a ride at every opportunity.

Guess if you're in need of the stuff its an ok deal, but I've seen Aldi do the same brand for cheaper.

Aldi is selling Sunflower Oil for £2.40 a litre at the moment, price seems to be going up rather than down.

Just make sure you you get the cold pressed olive oil, not the fake one with green colouring
