This is a great looking inflatable tent (the frame has been replaced with air beams), which can fit six people in comfortably. The blackout sections are a nice touch, one of which is removable to make a bigger 'living' section.

Not sure why they wouldn't add a pump at this price, but you need to get one separately.

This is £549.99, so £100 off the normal asking price. If you like camping and want ease of use over portability, this could be for you.

Bought the earlier version of the 6.3XL tent in blue/grey colours back in 2015 and used it around 3 times a year since then. Never had any problems with the air beams. With a side wind and rain it did sometimes allow a little spray to enter the tent through the slightly odd canopy over mesh roof design, but never anything major and never leaked elsewhere. The new design with blackout rooms would be especially welcome if anyone has young kids trying for a reasonable bedtime. Lack of pump is a bit of a pain but the suggested pump with gauge works fine. Groundsheet on ours was permanently held in place with a heavy duty zip, no issues. Ended up replacing the 6.3XL with an Outwell Hartsdale 4PA this year, but only as we wanted a porch and very happy with airbeam tech. Quality not all that different. All in all would definitely consider another Decathlon tent.

I took the 4.1 air seconds fresh and black to Glastonbury. Took no more than 10 minutes to pitch up. I would definitely recommend the fresh and black air seconds range.

I just wish decathlon would do these tents with sewn in groundsheets. First world problems eh….

Same, I'd buy if it weren't for this lack of feature.

You'll need plenty of puff for this it seems.

Always been wary of air tents. Presumably the air poles are pretty robust and come with patches etc?!

The ones I've seen in camping shops have been surprisingly sturdy. Once inflated the air parts are quite rigid and hard and the material feels pretty tough, but I believe they do come with patches just in case.

That seems a bit harsh, £550 and not including the pump!

No way you’re getting 6 in that unless your packed tight against each other

I think six people includes children and teens.

Every air mattress I've ever had started leaking within 5 years.

I would want to be pretty confident that air beam tents are better, but I can't think of any reason to be more confident.

I’ve had a Heimplanet air tent for 9 years and it hasn’t leaked once. Sturdy and incredibly easy to use.
