sorted bywi-fi version isn't what they announced its only 6gb ram and the G3X Gen 1 is a rebranded Snapdragon 888!
It also struggles with a lot of emulation
my suggestion is if you want something like this for gaming you'd be better off going with a steamdeck and having better options for games and a massive community support base that isn't going away any time soon (edited)
Shame as the hardware seems decent (like their phone) if you are into tablet gaming.
It's a glorified android tablet with attached controllers. It can play pretty much everything a flagship smartphone can play. The Steam Deck is a far, far, far better option for the price as that actually has a dedicated GPU so it can play somewhat less demanding actual PC games, not just streaming games and android play store junk.
Also, this will sell a combined about 12 and a half units, meaning Razer will forget about it in the 5 seconds after the PCGamer "Razer Edge bombs horribly" article is published.
It’s a lot lighter and lasts longer too. It’s also better suited to playing mobile games effortlessly.
If you only want to play at home via moonlight or gfn there really isn’t a comparison. That said I personally prefer my g cloud for the full 16:9 when at home. If you have a good modern phone you’re probably better off getting the kishi or backbone assuming your phone fits. (iPhone 13&14pm don’t for example)
