Can’t remember the price I paid, think was similar but these are great, especially if doing an all over single level cut, takes 5min for a decent cut.

and a heads-up for anyone else in future ...
I've just opened my new unit and can see the issue - Remington have changed from a padded case that protects the shaving unit, to a simple thin drawstring bag, that provides zero protection but at least holds everything together.
Shown in my photo are the old style and new style bags together.
Tip for those with the (old) small padded bag: the toiletries cases you are given on (longish) flights are useful to hold all the accessories.

This is a quality product n getting strong for last 5 years for us. The only thing is that it is better in wired direct power mode for thick hair cut as it at times struggle with battery mode. Also the templates come offer a deeper hair cut that could be too fine for some people. These are minor points and very happy with this otherwise and prefer it over other brands for self hair cut (edited)

Was great until I bought a oneblade.

Cut mine this morning with one of these that's about 6 years old. Best model I have had. Been doing my own cut for a long time.

I do the "Lionel Blair" hairstyle, if you can remember the advert....

Edit: just watched the advert on YT. I thought it was real short. Not so much. Still makes me laugh though. (edited)

I have had mine since lockdown diy hair cuts, complete baldy head shaver also imo its ok but I hate the biggest issue with it and that is the poor battery inside it. You can fully charge it and pack it away for a week or 2 and when you go to use it the battery has somehow drained if not totally dead.

Not sure if they fixed it in the more recent versions since mine came from 2-3 years ago.

Its a tad rough on the scalp with zero but does a decent job at getting close enough to the old potato head, but it won't come close to a proper manual blade head shave.

I would check Amazon reviews or ask the question if they have fixed the battery issue, or if someone can confirm its no longer an issue before buying imo.

Got these for Christmas last year, the 3mm comb broke after 3 months and Remington sent me a complete set of new combs for free.

Mine arrived today by Royal Mail ... had forgotten about it !

Brilliant shaver. Had mine for 3 years and still going strong. Don't forget to invest in some good quality shaver oil to keep things tickety boo.

    Thanks!
I bought this in 2017 for £25 (£5 off) also from My Memory.
Step dad has been borrowing mine, so am buying a spare. Still works well.
It's fine to use yourself, but also my wife cuts my hair with this and prefers it to the more usual £20 models from Wahl, Braun, Remington, etc.

Absolutely brillaint for the self-baldy. So impressed with mine, and had it for ages now without any issues. I'd buy it again tomorrow.

Good shaver. Saved a few quid over the years.

The best on the market by miles, the comments on previous posts speak volumes, only downside I've had is the short hair clipper attachments become brittle overtime and do break , you can get them from Remington though but does anyone else have anywhere they have bought them from

I've used one of these for the last 3 years & I love it. Miles better on mains as opposed to battery, far more powerful. Quickest head shave you'll get.

Same day delicery for me on Amazon for £33 so I will pick it from there, but it's a nice deal!

I've had one for about 5 years and it's very good. I use the 3mm guard and with this I do have to use a separate smaller trimmer around my ears and neck to get a neat finish.

Remington Quickcut Pro Cordless Hair Clippers - Fast and Easy Home Hair Cutting, Fully Washable with 12 Guide Combs (1.5-25mm), HC4300 amzn.eu/d/7WDEurH

How do these compare with the pro? Anybody used both? (edited)

I use one of these and I'm nowhere near bald (just yet). I do a fade from grade 3 to 2 to 1 and use scissors for the top. Then tidy up with no guard. Only got one after lockdown finished and all the local barbers got too greedy with their prices. Saved hundreds so far. Wouldn't go back.

You can do a fade in the mirror on yourself with just this? Are you sure?

Mine arrived today, no sign of the zipped bonus case, some naff nylon bag in the package, not that happy about it so will complain
    driver8's avatar
How did you get on, ?
I see no mention of a "zipped bonus case", only 'Storage Pouch' in the description.
