Amazon have recently introduced a cloud game streaming service called Luna to the UK. There is a rotating library of games freely available to Prime members and Resident Evil 2 (remake) has landed on it for the month of May.

Each month Amazon put up a new selection of games that can be played by Prime Members that month at no extra cost (credit to jrwagh333 in the comments for confirming the cadence). If, like me, you've meant to play this game for a while then give it a go whilst it's free.

People may want to check out the service generally, if it's passed you by. In addition to the selection of games for Prime Members there are other niceties such as playing Ubisoft PC games you already own from the cloud. Like other cloud streaming services performance will vary depending on the strength of your internet connection.

    This is a surprisingly good service actually. Also you can link your ubisoft account so if you own any games (PC games that is) then a lot of them will automatically be added. For example I was playing Ghost Recon Wildlands yesterday on my Firestick using an Xbox controller.

    I tried this and ran into an issue, save yourself from madness! only certain Xbox one controllers have Bluetooth, see the image below:

    If you're a member of Amazon Prime then just go to luna.amazon.co.uk and login, you should have access to it. Be aware, though, that this is a cloud streaming service and so can only be played in the cloud whilst Amazon keep it available. It's not the same as their other Prime Gaming offering where you can pick up games to keep. Anyone with an Amazon account should be able to use the site, but will presumably have to buy or subscribe to any content they want to use.

    Luna has been available for the last month or more in the UK, the 4 free games get rotated every week or 2.

    As others have said, owning games on Ubisoft connect allows you to cloud game for free which is pretty awesome. Plays perfectly with a stadia controller.

    That's not true. The 4 free games get rotated on a monthly basis, changing on the 1st of every month. A blog post and tweet is made by Amazon Luna a few days or so before the end of the current month to announce what games are coming next month. (edited)

    With overcooked you can also local co-op (like steams remote play together) using the Luna couch (the friend/family member who you invite don't need to be subscribed)

    This is pretty cool. Downloaded Luna yesterday on my Fire Stick and played the free games using a PS4 controller. No issues with the game play. The navigation and buttons are a bit odd but assume this is because I'm using the PS4 pad.

    Wow, never knew about this! Haven't heard anything about it at all which is surprising. Just tested it out now, RE2 seemed to play flawlessly on my android (though I didn't play long). Also seen a free game appear from years ago when I claimed it and never played it (watch dogs) (y). Honestly pretty cool to be able to play RE2 on a firestick and phone, shame you only get a month to try and finish it but still

    amazon luna? What is this? The new Stadia? Amazon is slowly taking over the world. I do my shopping there, i buy random tatt, i watch movies, now i'll be gaming...... (all on student prime membership)....

    Sort of. If you go to luna.amazon.co.uk in Android Chrome and click the Chrome 3 dot menu then there should be an "Install app" option. This seems to amount to a shortcut on your home screen really, but did work for me.
