Explore a fantasy adventure world to defeat a bodybuilding dragon and his minions using real-life exercises!

Traverse grass-swept plains by jogging in place, attack enemies with overhead shoulder presses, and refill your health meter by striking some yoga poses. Two accessories, the Ring-Con and Leg Strap, measure your real-world actions and help turn them into in-game movements. With additional mini games and customizable workout routines, Ring Fit Adventure is great escape for players of all skill levels and schedules.

In Adventure mode, defeat enemies with attacks based on real-world exercises as you traverse more than 100 levels in over 20 worlds. As you work through each level (and possibly work up a sweat), you'll earn experience points. Between fights, you may encounter some unusual methods of transportation such as squat-powered launch pads. Then, pass around the Ring-Con and leg strap accessories and select from a few mini games: break boxes with gusts of air, craft pottery using squats, and more.

  • Jog, Sprint, and high knee through over 100 levels in more than 20 worlds
  • Control in-game movements with the Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories

Great fun this and found a place in my daily workout. Bought it used on eBay for £30 and thought it was a bargain.
Straps on the side come off, so I just threw those and the legstrap in the wash on delicate cycle - all good

For those that are worried about the used condition… just clean it. It’s fine. It’s okay to clean things. It won’t hurt you.

However be warned… this game is harder than Dark Souls. I am yet to finish more then two levels in one sitting.

I have used this for 110 hours, 2-3 stages on average each time (so around 15 minutes sessions) for the last few years few days a week, skipping some periods when I did other forms of exercise although this has been quite central to my routine. I wouldn't worry too much about getting it second hand and as others said it can be cleaned. I will admit I have never washed mine (Mrs also used for some additional hours) and it seems fine, I'm sure there's all sorts of bacteria on it (as on the keyboard I'm typing right now) but it doesn't smell at all. I was actually quite impressed with this, comparing with my headset which instead gets really revolting if you don't clean it. I think it's designed well and it doesn't have the intrinsic issue with the enclosed space a headset has where the sweat just keeps accumulating and doesn't dry as fast. But anyhow if this is a concern, a brand ring fit set doesn't cost that much more, and if you plan to use it as routine exercise it's very cheap for that purpose, certainly it's money very well invested as it's your own health which certainly has greater returns on the tiny investment.

I'm a bit disappointed that Nintendo didn't release new games or apps for this peripheral, clearly it gets boring very fast, but you are not using this for fun (maybe it's fun the first few hours) you are using this to exercise. I just keep the volume off and watch or hear a podcast while I do it. I plan to keep using it for the foreseeable as it's been invaluable for my health, primarily for cardio.

The only thing they added after release, which is appreciated surely especially as it was a free update, is a suite of minigames rhythm-themed, but to me they got boring quite quickly, and when I turn the thing on I want to do the routine whilst the games tend to stress specific muscles and don't work to me as well, so the point of them would just be to have fun and not exercise particularly (they could be even detrimental if you don't stretch properly before them). They are well done though. (edited)

you need to factor in the cost of how much disinfectant you're gonna need

feedback from my family on this was that it is not much fun at all.
Bought for £50 during lockdown and struggled to sell for £25.

Used leg strap 🤢 maybe throw that part away and get a new one on ebay. The ring could be cleaned pretty easily at least

Fantastic exercise game on adventure mode can increase the reps you do on each set to make it more intense, would recommend for all the family
