Another one which cannot make its way to Northern Ireland, is there one with extra batteries which may / may not explode

I think it would take a lot of batteries to get this to drive to Northern Ireland.

Probably best to buy one locally. 😁

Expired by the looks of it. Torn really, on a slope with loads of flower beds so worry that i'll spend my life looking for breaks in the wire. Think i'll wait until next winter and have another look

I have a slope of around 7 degrees and I've had no problems. I've had the mower for about a year now (forgot to cancel the price alert which is how I found out it was in sale) and I've had no problems with the wire. I layed it as close to the ground as I could get it, now you cannot see it as the grass has covered it. I think the biggest risk you have is with a spade but as long as you're mindful I doubt you'll have issues. I might have a different story in a year or two but right now that's my experience.

I got the larger WR148E for the fantastic price of £360 just before Christmas from Worx Direct; it was such a good deal I sold my previous 3YO for more than the new one. Worth noting that Worx is due to release its new generation (getting mixed reception ATM), which I suspect will see this generation fall in price. If you are considering waiting for what the next generation offers, I would suggest looking at the Evovacs Goat G1

Still a great machine, and it will do you proud - recommend upgrading the wheels if you have any inclines. Niggles are the boundary wire which is a pain to place and a bigger pain to find breaks that can easily occur. I'm also not a fan of the random cutting pattern; it does the job, but it's not efficient. And the "cut to edge" is really just a myth

Final note - the area these cover is entirely dependent on the battery. Increase the battery AH and it will cover as big an area as the more expensive models

What this dude says. I've had this model for three years and upgraded the wheels and battery and it's been great

Still waiting for one that can reliably steer around dog

You'll be waiting a while budn

The answer is actually to train the dog to only go in a spot
It's not as silly or as impossible as it sounds - it just requires patience/grit from the human.

Especially as dog wee/poo damages grass anyway (edited)

I ordered one a week or so ago so have returned the one I already have and ordered the 60 quid cheaper one. I don't know why amazon won't price match recent orders...

Because it's not from Amazon - it's a 3rd party seller. If the lower price is via the same 3rd party store, contact them, and they will be more likely to provide a discount to save having to return the item. If it's a different seller, then all you can do is return and order from the new party. Amazon normally discount the difference if they are the seller

I thought it was a slipper looking at the photo on the main listing page.
