Cant vouch for it myself as i don't have the product but they generally have very good reputation for product quality and customer service. I think they're Which? number 2 best retailer if I read the news correctly this morning (y)
Looks good, hope its as good as the picture. Looks very well made.
If you're looking for a mens jacket, the Ascent at £94.50 (reduced from £189) and the Atlas; £109 (from £159) may be worth a look. Both seem to have a good choice of sizes left and some colour choices. This video compares three Rohan Jackets, including the Ascent and Vertex http://rohantime.rohan.co.uk/video-review-three-rohan-waterproof-jackets-by-chis-orange/. I hummed and haa'd about the Vertex Overhead at £99, (a lot of money even at that reduced price) and thought I had missed the opportunity as the large went out of stock, but my wife, with the help of Rohan Customer services tracked one down for me. It arrived yesterday as a late christmas present for me - haven't worn it yet, but it looks good!
Shame the full zip Vertex is still full price. Any other models worth considering?
Hasn't got "Superdry" or "Rab" on it written large so the sheep aren't interested.
Yep doesn’t deserve the cold vote, this is a bargain.
Superb quality gear, despite a fairly low profile they have an enormously loyal customer base. Anyone who knows anything about serious outdoor gear will know Rohan is one of the best brands out there. £99 is truly a brilliant offer because I guarantee you’ll not find a better quality breathable waterproof capable of total protection in the foulest of weather. The normal full zip front Vertex is £280 and I believe this half zip overhead version just hasn’t proved to be popular hence the big reduction. Nearly posted this deal myself the other day but suspecting people’s ignorance of the brand would attract cold voting didn’t bother so kudos to the OP for making the effort.
Rohan make very comfortable clothing. I have found the trousers, shorts and shirts very effective when walking - especially in summer to avoid overheating. The sales are a real bargain for what is otherwise very expensive
I know, there is something "ick" about it...but if you're looking for fabric that's tough, packs small and dries rapidly, nylon is great. Rohan is mostly about travel wear, so they tend to use artificial fibres like nylon and polyester.
Nylon - Is that supposed to sell them to us? :-(
still very expensive + I couldn't find sorting option on the webpage for Low to high option..
Nudists get the best deals!
I'm curious, would you please explain what you are basing your opinion on?
Been buying from them since they started in business and had a shop in Milton Keynes. Have to say that I haven't bought from them in a while and so can't speak to the current quality but their stuff used to be virtually indestructible. Mind you, having checked their current prices (still don't know what the current quality is like) I'm sticking to CragHoppers.
Popular brand with the older generation of outdoor-types. Not owned any myself...probably 'cause I'm so youthful. :p
I have some of their trousers which are as ood as new after 18 years of use. Lightweight well designed. Cant fault them really.
never heard of this brand before, are they worth their price??
Thanks - really good discounts here!
