Great price if you've already tried some Five Tens on and know your size. Otherwise you'll pay a non-refundable £5p&p and pay again to return them because HoF customer service is non-existent.

    Just like Sports direct CS!

I picked some of the Trailcross Mid Pro boots up last week and those things stick like glue on flat pedals! In fact, they stick a bit too much and made my knees ache because your foot gets "locked" in to one position. There's no "float" that you would get with lesser grippy footwear (or clipless) which would allow your foot to settle in its natural position on the pedals. Not sure if these offer the same amount of grip, but certainly something to be weary of. I'll eventually get round to lowering the pins in the pedals and give them another try, but for now, I've gone back to wearing a pair of hiking boots that I've always worn. (edited)

Interesting perspective, thanks for the feedback. I'm resisting as have a pair of shimano flats that'll see me out (not like the soles wear down hey) so don't need more

Sorry wasn't aware of that one. Still not too bad a price though compared to rrp.
