    Do heat pump dryers only need to be plugged in and attached to an exhaust pipe vented externally? Or do they need that heat pump central heating system to work? Confused with the term heat pump. I have a Samsung combo washer dryer and it seems to just warm up the clothes and leave me with a wet hot pile of clothes. Looking to get a proper dryer.

    Just plugged in, can go anywhere you can get power.

    They are self contained and condense the moisture in a tank you empty.
    Many have the option to attach to a drain.


    Have a think about why your current machine is failing to perform.

    Might be overloading or using wrong settings.
