U1/A1 whereas this is U3/A2. Sandisk Extreme or Extreme Pro would be better than both, but overall the Samsung is more cost effective.

Where are deals for dash cam SD cards...

Just search for high endurance cards. But no point in cutting corners on those anyway - just get a decent one so it lasts. Usually around £10 for a branded 32GB.

Are these good to use with a Steamdeck?
    0ptixPrime's avatar
Yep, this (exactly same as EVO Select) and the SanDisk Extreme / Extreme Pro are top recommended SD many use for the steam deck. Just Samsung doesn't do a 1tb version of this whereas SanDisk does.

Just got one for my steamdeck, thanks.

Somewhat strangely perhaps, these come preformatted as exFAT (well mine did), which supports file sizes >4Gb.

If your device supports exFAT, good for large 4K Linux ISOs , legally owned All UK OS 25k map files etc.
    amour3k's avatar
Isn't exFAT the standard 'format' on the majority of these sorts of thing's anyway?

    Eg. Pen drive's, memory card's.

I've never heard any of them formatted as NTFS, by 'default'? - FAT32, perhaps (and that's it). :-)

Out of interest, do you try to boot up any LINUX distro's, via any of your memory card's, etc etc?

    Thanx.
