Great deal on the S22 when you trade in any android phone (remember this can be absolutely any old phone that runs android). Galaxy Fit2 is as current in stock in black and has been in and out of stock over the past couple of days. If you want this deal and it is out of stock keep an eye on the stock of the Fit2 as it has been in and out of stock multiple times a day.

Even without the Fit2 it comes to a price of £453.65 with a trade in which is still a remarkable price.

S22 seems to be tanking in price, is this line of phones that bad?

Think more people are keeping their phones longer and sales are down. Me and my wife both have s20's and are due upgrades but we are not going to bother as it's not that much better of a phone for the money and everyone is worried about prices going up for everything. So are holding back on non essential stuff....that's just my opinion not fact.

Is now a bad time to mention that you could've traded in any junk old Android, even one you bought for a fiver off Facebook marketplace, and got the same price? You could have then sold the S10e for more than the junk phone cost...not too late to cancel the order, will definitely work out better, even CEX offer >£100 for the S10e.

Scroll through the numerous comments on dozens of deals here and you will see at most a half a dozen or so commenters out of hundreds who have had any problems with trade in phones so your comment is at best greatly exaggerated.

    I can't either

It's appeared and disappeared a few times for me as well (currently disappeared but managed to buy a TV while it was there).

Give it 24 hours and it will probably be back.

You need to download Curve app, sign up for that (using an existing debit/credit card) then link that to Samsung Pay. I think once you've done that and you select it as payment option then you will automatically get the 5%.

Tried 4 different browsers and 3 devices, pretty sure Samsung website is defective as is the case normally with it.

You don't need to select brand as everything is worth 200. All they want is the IMEI on page 3

I contacted uk.help@samsung.com and they sorted mine out after waiting ages for both confirmation of the ear buds and disney+ promo.
Had it sorted in a couple of days after emailing them.
I also rang samsung and asked them to raise it as a complaint, and to be fair they called me the next day to help move things along.
The whole process was painful though, IMEI not recognised to try and claim the promo stuff then after waiting weeks and hearing nothing, they emailed me to say they were blocking the phone in 72 hours as they had not reveived the trade in phone, dispite me having the tracking info showing they did 2 days after i received the S22, hard work chasing the extras at every stage.

**Purchase from Samsung.com by 07/06/22. £200 based on any working or broken android. Purchased phone will be blocked if you don't send us your trade-in device. T&Cs apply.

Ordered two yesterday and had them arrive today via DPD.

However, there was only one return label for the trade-in when opening the box. Kind of expected it after reading others having similar experiences in the past.

I've emailed Samsung's trade-in address in the hopes of having a second label sent to me.

I can update this comment/thread if others are curious about trying the same with multiple devices.

Update to this. Got an email early this morning from Samsung with my second return label so all good to go. Pleasantly surprised!

Phones will be sent off tomorrow so hopefully should all be sorted soon.

did you email them samsung@tradeinresponse.co.uk? i'm missing one too

Yep. I received separate confirmation emails for each of my trade-ins shortly after delivery.

As they both have unique reference numbers, I simply replied to the confirmation email for the one that was missing and asked if they could issue me a return label for it.

I asked them that very question on the phone and they said they are likely to charge a surcharge or even charge the full £200 if the device doesn't match.

The UK version of this phone is a big downgrade from the US one due to the different chip/processor. That's why the price is expected to tank further.

Brilliant deal but put off by the battery so not for me. Most people not getting a full day out of it with 5 hours screen time.
  36. mossmanfly's avatar
Bought 2 Samsung A53's and 2 cases for just under £409. Traded in an old Sony Xperia E1, and a Doro Flip phone. Discount was over £407. So basically half price for the 2 phones.

I've got and S8+ at the moment which I've had since launch so its now 5 years old and the battery is definitely losing power. Recently over heating and the screen goes all bright and definitely looks like screen burn.

Mrs has an Samsung A50 which is 3 years old so worth replacing that as well.

Obviously S22 is better but we don't game on them and find my S8+ still performs all the day to day tasks perfectly fine. Plus no Micro SD slot on the new S series is definitely a downgrade IMHO. (edited)
