Stunning Design
Tough and elegant, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is built to last with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protecting the front and back alongside a sleek Armour Aluminium frame in a choice of four gorgeous shades: Green, Phantom Black, Cream or Lavender. Of course, it wouldn't be Ultra without the ever-handy S Pen on board for total precision and flexibility in everything you do.

I am long past the stage of spending £1k on a phone (edited)
I think some people on HUKD get confused on the difference between what is a 'deal' vs 'good value'. They are mutually exclusive events.
Phone should've launched with 12GB RAM minimum and at least 16GB on the higher end models.
EDIT: just watched a few reviews -- to add insult to injury, not only did they not upgrade the display, they had the nerve to downgrade the selfie camera to a 12MP sensor. Typical Scamsung -- take away or downgrade a new feature every year. Meanwhile, the much cheaper Chinese phones from OnePlus and Xiaomi will get the upgraded LTPO3 and LTPO4 displays for a fraction of the cost. Then Samsung wonders why they keep losing marketshare to cheaper Chinese brands every year. (edited)
S23 Ultra 512GB with flip case for £1016.82 after trading in a broken J3....4.25% TCB has tracked too taking a further £42.74 off.
Was expecting to pay a lot more than £974.08 TBH (edited)
But I would've traded up for a s23u as my other option as the price seems great in the op (edited)
Then again!
The mid year sales often see's big discounts and big trade-in values, any bugs or issues will also be sorted by then.
Heat for me this will be the years best, Again!
I thought this was pretty fair for 512gb Ultra. Anyone found a better deal with trade in? Unidays was £25 more. Only paid £400 for S21U 12 months ago
I just can't find a good enough excuse to trade in, mainly because I'm not that bothered with a 200mp bump in the camera. I'm more than happy with my S22 Ultra tbh.
But, as with all Samsung high end phones, the biggest worry is the lags and stutters that kick in after a few months. This one finally has a Snapdragon chipset, but even those variants suffer after a few months on Samsung devices.
I've had my OnePlus phone for 2 years and it's still smooth on the whole. That's why I worry about coughing up a lot on a phone that could be annoying after only a couple of months.
Are you thinking of the Samsung devices of old? Like pre-S6?
I've got the note 20 ultra and I opted to buy it rather than upgrade again.
The 23 really doesn't offer any more than what I've got. Samsung reached the DPI limit years ago so any more DPI are invisible to the human eye.
And the 20 ultra has a memory card slot. That's another reason not to get another phone.
This has double the storage and a case for £33 cheaper and it only costs any broken phone. Buy a £20 phone off amazon if you have to.
im giving a broken s8 screen broken but functions
If you're talking used prices then that's just how tech depreciation works, nothing to see here, move on etc
