    Be careful with these drives, the cables that come with the drives can be really loose and disconnect. I think it's a design defect with the drive as I have the t7 touch and t5's and never had this issue (edited)

    That’s never happened to mine in 18 months, connected to a music server. Not had 1 drop out.

    Surely this just depends what you need. If you don't need 4TB, doesn't matter if it's a better deal, you're spending more for no reason?

    Likewise if you need more than 2TB, doesn't matter if it's a good deal, it won't meet your needs. (edited)

    Wouldn't buying an NVMe and an enclosure be better value? Leaves you with an option to use the NVMe drive in a system later on as well.
