I have this pan, and it's good if used correctly. If you are expecting a teflon egg sliding pan, you will be disappointed. Only Tefal pans when newish have super slippery surfaces.

With this pan, I find you have to season it now and then for best results (spread oil over it using a tissue for example, then burn it off, once cooled it's ready to go probably for a couple weeks) and use a bit of oil when you cook anything. It seems to be more durable than Tefal pans.

I would buy again. It's a different style of pan, just understand what you're buying. (edited)

Bought the complete pan set when on offer about 5 years ago
Pans are the best I had...but they claim to be dishwasher safe and the inside of the pan's are however the outside looses it's colour a lot so now my pan's exterior are grey
But the pan's are perfectly usable would definitely buy again however would hand wash only

think 'never stick' is up there with 'self cleaning'

always had to use oil with mine...induction hob so no high heat...veggie so never cooked meat in it ...no dishwasher ..wooden utensils..
in the bin after a year

only a tenner though i suppose

oh and good luck trying to use that lifetime guarentee (edited)

Induction hobs can heat pans until they melt - there is no limit on temperature.

    Avoid Teflon

I have one, 5 years old, still non-stick, but you have to follow the manufacturer instuctions.

No metal utensils, don't use on the highest heat, and (one I'd add) hand wash only.

I did that, still had poor performance after less than a year. Would not recommend
and as others have said, try following up the warranty and they will say you used it wrong. (edited)

I have a few Scoville pans from different ranges. All are good and you won't get a better frying pan for a tenner, no ifs or buts. That said I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher.

We've had ours for a couple of years (whole set), still as good as new, nothing sticks to them.

    Tefal > Scoville. Fact.
    The.Fat.Cat's avatar
Having used both, about as far from 'fact' as you can get.
Tefal's non-stick coating wears off far too quickly.

For the price, they are very good.

Got it from Asda on the last deal for £12. It’s an ok pan but doesn’t seem to get as hot as the pan it replaced. A great pan for the price though.

Got the set. Very good they are, easily beats the Tefal ones - which always seem to scratch up, no matter how much care.

    These = non stick, resilient

I bought this a few weeks back and my eggs stuck to it on first use, despite using a block of butter. Returned for refund.

These are still Teflon I assume.

    The famous cancer-causing Teflon...

I got a couple of these pans from ASDA a year ago. Still works and looks like new. I also have a couple of Tefal's but I think Scolville's are a better quality.

    Buy Le Creuset

    Rather buy 30 of these.

Had the whole set a coupe of years, lots of use and still good as new.
Never had any need to season it like someone above suggested.

Just use silicone utensils and hand wash.

aslong as you dont have heat too high it will last long time but use wee bit oil or butter
