Understand they have QC issues but need numerator versus demoninator data for a fair comparison. For what it's worth, I have 2 like these (blue and green dials). One is - 5 and the other is +10 sec/day. I wouldn't normally post this info but good to have balance. The +10 is easier to adjust!

Was shocked to see an actual customer in a Torquay watch retailer but buying ear-rings rather than a watch, a few Seikos did have thirty percent off, though.

I was able to acquire the Seiko 5 Sports 55th Anniversary Limited Edition Men's Black Dial Bracelet Watch... unfortunately when they brought it out the box was battered and watch definitely not in a"brand new" state with the brushed steel bracelet already marked up and scratches around the dial. With a heavy heart I declined it which is shame as it was supposed to be a 55 year olds Birthday present. QC definitely an issue (edited)

Sorry to hear that. I also bought that watch and the condition/ build was perfect albeit the crown is much smaller and more fiddly to adjust. Wonder if yours was a return?
