Selvedge denim is always straight fit. Either you got the wrong size or you're not familiar with selvedge

If these are anything like the selvedge jeans I bought from Uniqlo recently, they're really really high rise. I'm guessing they're the same because the size and pricing is similar.

Yeah, they're nowhere as good as the straight legged ones they used sell, which were more of a traditional cut with a lower rise.

These are also pretty short in the leg (about 30"). (edited)

Pretty pleased with these. Yeah the rise is high and they're a little bit short (seems to be the fashion these days but you can just roll the cuff down if you want) but they're nowhere near as baggy as people were saying. (edited)
