    Are there any details on how heavy these are once filled with water ? I currently have 4 x 40kg slabs on my parasol, as I don't trust it in windy weather

    Fill these up with sand/ballast so you don’t have to worry about them splitting. If using water either empty them out before the winter or even better put anti freeze in them.

    🔥 these are normally silly prices, surprised there isn’t cheaper options about. I presume they are sold only as a pair because you may be able to get away with only 2 if you lay them down during windy weather

    Don’t get why some hollow plastic is always so expensive, but a better price then you can normally get anywhere else.

    Great bought 2 lots. Was using 4 x paving slabs but moved and forgot to bring them! That's enough weight for me. If its that windy I am not outside with my parasol up!

    Just picked mine up - seem great - but I'm thinking filling with water might lead to cracking of the plastic when it freezes in the winter - they should be filled with sand right?
