AGAIN - SLC cache is a marketing con term. All triple, quad etc level memory cells can (and are) written to as a single bit storage for initial writes to ALL flash devices. This is done for speed- writing a single bit to a cell made to hold 3 or 4 bits is faster (at the cost of designed cell storage). The device then, later, moves this data to permanent storage in a properly used cell.

This method actually REDUCES the life of flash, since the final data write also has an initial temp data write, whereas, at the cost of write speed, it could have just done the final write operation instead.

The term "SLC cache" is used hoping you'll confuse it with DRAM cache, where there are RAM chips alongside the EE chips.
