Hope this works on a faded red Yaris! Thanks OP

If it has a top clear lacquer coat, nothing will work. Older red cars, that would sometimes fade to pink could be brought back to life. But modern cars can be stuck like that if they fade under the clear coat, short of a respray.

Ordered although that review is from 2010

Bought 2, bargain price and lasts ages. I always use this pre wax or pre sealant, gives off a glass like smoothness. Didn't dry off like powder so super quick to wipe off.

What is the standard price for this? Can't really see many places selling it on Google.

Bought this hoping it will remove tree sap. Not sure if it will but it is so bad I've got to give this a try. I tried clay, it works to some extent but it is hard work. (edited)

Are you talking about the damage from tree sap? The leftover residue?

Honestly if you get bird crap on your car, clean it asap, I find car shampoo works very well in softening it.

Does it do anything for a pearlescent car thats not weathered pre wax?

I'd like to know as well.. bought a car from someone using 1 bucket + fairy liquid + sponge... have removed trim where he never touched and the difference in colour was enormous...

They do the Nano tech one that gets good reviews, not sure about this
    Dekard97's avatar
I would imagine this is more versatile. I believe the Nano one has wax in it, so not ideal for people using spray ceramic coatings or other LSPs.

Would this be any good for sun damaged panels? Roof on red car is looking a little worse for wear

Can I ask, if you have lots of swirls, how do you know if has enough laqar for this?
I understand that you can wear our your laqar from too much abrasive cleaning.
    j_t1990's avatar
This sort of product is never going to wear down that much lacquer, you only really need to know that with machine polishing or really old/ uv damaged paint
