    I mistakenly got one last week its a Gen 1 Fabric cover and no Atmos ( and i need the atmos gen 2 version so returned.) pity or would have been a great buy.

    I prefer the fabric cover of the Gen 1, but yeah, if you want to use it as part of an Atmos setup you'll need the Gen 2.

    I wouldn't say the Gen 2 alone gives you an Atmos experience though.

    When I've seen beams in Costco it's been the gen 1. Not saying this isn't going to be the same.

    This is the only speaker you'll ever need for your TV, trust me... well perhaps some sonos back end speakers for a even more submersive experience

    The sub makes the difference. I disconnected my rear speakers and using them elsewhere in the house instead.

    Highly likely as Gen 2 launched October 2021. Can’t see it being the previous version.

    Hopefully once the deal is live instore tomorrow someone can confirm the item number/ manufacturer code.

    Only has e-arc input so may be an issue with lip sync on some TVs.

    I dumped my whole surround system for this and never looked back, the fact it’s wireless, the sound is amazing and how neat it all is, I’d never go back again to anything with wires and speakers all over the place.

    Really? I have one in a box…. I used the arc with surrounds and was underwhelmed. Went back to my Sony system.

    I got one of these about 6 months ago and returned it when I realised it was gen 1. So they had old stock fairly recently.
