i didnt put pucture up.
Went into croydon store thursday eve £225 pay as u go plus £10 freedom top up.

Was going to post this up myself, Great Price, Guildford have plenty in stock for those wanting one, Orange, White & Black

I bought one of these on o2 refresh for £240 a few months back. The best smart phone I've ever owned (owned the galaxies, nexus phones, LG's). Battery lasts two days, great 20.7 mp camera and smaller than the flagship phablets now being released yet just as quick. An amazing bit of kit and at that price a steal.

Any idea if the bootloader is locked on these ? - i know you can network unlock them for any sim but the carriers tend to lock the bootloader so you are stuck with only their custom rom etc.

I was in Vodafone today and it wasnt this price, strange. I will go back in tomorrow and ask as I'm wanting either this or the full size z3

That's probably the most stupid reason for a person to vote cold I've seen in a while

Xpera z2 and Z3 phones and tablets are really impressive, kind if went under many folks radar, but have some great features.

I got a Z2 after dabbling with a One plus and an S5 around Xmas and its a great phone, noise cancelling, waterproof, fab battery, front facing speakers, ps4 compatible. The Z3 compact looks great too, very tempted.

Z3 compact is fantastic. Basically it has the chipset specs to match the previous big boys (SGS5, M8, G3 etc) but in a smaller body with a smaller screen. The screen itself is 'only' 720p but this is the main contributor to this phone's superb battery life, and we're talking better than even iphone 6 life here.

If you're tired of near phablet sized phones with pitiful battery life but still want something with big smartphone performance, pick one of these up.

I work at Vodafone and i know for a fact the orange one is on the offer. Just based on stock in store at the time. So it isn't wrong.

Would this have any impact on the pay monthly prices?

Maybe you could be kind enough to help with my question above. Thanks in advance.

I was contemplating buying this phone because its the perfect size with an excellent camera + you can stick a 128gb sd card to store all your music then i read that peeps were reporting the glass back apparently cracks by itself whilst in your pocket. oO seems to be a known problem with this phone.

"Following the trail of breadcrumbs left around the Internet we find a little survery on the XDA Developers Forum consisting of owners of the Xperia Z3. Of the 1369 respondants of the survey 376 are reporting that the screen or the back have cracked with no apparent reason attached to it, such as dropping the phone or placing it in a tight pocket."

Yeah, the reports of cracking, (and that it uses a nano sim, a bit of a pain for me) puts me off a bit, especially as I would be unlocking it, so spoiling the warranty, I believe. Still interested in the phone though, hopefully it will be around this price unlocked soon.

Great price and a good phone, only let down by the fact that it has problems and Sony have the worst customer service I have ever experienced and their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on so you best get some insurance to protect it.
My advice would be to do some research about cracking screens and not being as waterproof as they claim...if you want to avoid these potential issues then go with Samsung.

Got to be the most self selecting survey in history. Why not say of the 100 people who entered a watch repair shop, 98 of them said their watch was broken

The best smart phone on the market at a great price. HEAT

Any survey like this will naturally attract more users with the problem than without to vote. It's like complaints - look on a voting website for a letting agents and practically no one is going to go out of their way to put positive feedback (if any should exist). Bad experience drive people to make more effort than good experiences.

Had the Compact since November, great phone. Still don't trust the water resistant bit but even so would fully recommend...

I will be getting it when my iPhone 5 dies

What issue did you have?

Sent my z3 to Sony a few weeks ago for having screen issues and got a new replacement within a week. Can't fault them really

I've had my Z1 in the sea many times, still going strong...just make sure all the flaps are closed.

Had mine since December and used it extensively for 4 months as it was only source of entertainment/internet connection/etc. It's the best 'phone I've ever had. I'm heavy whatsapper so the phone was is in and out of my pockets all day long.

Dropped it a few times and I was relieved to find no damage.

saw the advert in the papers and it said it's available instore or online I can't find it payg online Vodafone!

Recently bought the Z2 off Amazon marketplace which is so far proving to be the best smartphone I've had. The Z3 has marginally better specs but this is a great deal for it. If you are worried about potential glass cracking, make sure you invest in a case mate tough case (these are official cases for these devices and so are somewhat guaranteed to fit properly) and a tempered glass screen protector wouldn't hurt either.

I had a few issues and then the phone died, I think the main killer in the end was water, I tested it and it failed and Sony say that is my fault and refused to repair under warranty, I followed all the rules and Sony not only did nothing but also blamed me for the failure rather than their defective product.
Of every company I have ever dealt with then Sony have been the worst by a country mile.

Great price for this

Viewing on my Z3C right now.. Favourite phone ever. I too believe the cracking is a very isolated issue.

However, the only thing I'd say is get a minimalist case for it or rear sticker - the glass back is very slippery - it looks nice but just the slightest touch can send it flying off a desk!

I rooted mine last week, took off some bloatware and get about three days out of mine.
