Oh I agree 40hrs is no good to anyone. 100hrs minimum in my book. What were they thinking!

Bought the Q35 from Amazon France last week £69. Someone was posted here and it was deleted by the mods

The noise cancelling function on Q35 does not exist comparing to Q30. I am still impressed how did they f&%$ed it up so terribly.

i tried a pair of these, sound quality 10/10 ear pad fit 2/10 sent them back if you have anything bigger than tiny ears then just dont bother

Excellent headphones at this price for music and work, but the build quality is fairly poor. I'm on my 2nd pair of Q30 in 3yrs and they now have a lot of tape and cable ties. Good customer service, though, so looking at the Q45 to replace them.

Woah. These are decent at all volumes, but top volume clarity is great.
Normally I get a crackling in my right ear, which I assumed was an injury from my debatable life choices, but not with these.

Just ordering a dozen bottles of rum in celebration. Now I just need to find a squat party.

And someone to look after the kids... (edited)

They're decent. I'm well happy with mine.
Just make sure you download the app from the play store or whatever iPhone users use.
There are presets that reduce the bass, which most people tend to use. I like the piano one despite my genre being mostly rock and metal. It sounds best to me with this option.

Bought these however dissapointed to read on the box that noise cancelling is via the app. Call me old skool but i like hardware to work in its own right and not be dependant on a) having a phone b) having an app c) the app still being availbale d) not having to give my details to anker via the app just so I can listen to headphones.

Q - are the headphones and noise cancelling useable and useful without installing the app?

I just press the right ear for noise cancelling or transparency. You can make changes in the phone app, but I doubt you're forced to.

Do you listen to music through your phone anyway though?
The app has an equaliser that's really good. The headphones are a bit bass heavy for most people. You can select the presets to try different ones. I like the Piano preset. Seems to work well with rock music. (edited)
