Hypothetical question. If Vegan Store UK sells meat, is the meat vegan? also is "bombing" a sport now? :P

To be fair, the brands at SportsDirect don't mean anything. It's all cheap and nasty with various brand labels that they own sewn onto them

I’m happy with my pair ,denim looks strong, style is correct, colour is correct, size is perfect ,quality looks great

pizzapasta118

All 5 of mine are waiting for collection now in store. That's a shame some people's have been getting cancelled. The worst is when it then means the postage cost is no longer worth it spread over other items. I remember a time on HUKD when everyone ordered £2.99 socks to take a deal over a certain minimum spend with a Sports Direct group company (I think Cruise or Tessuti). They then cancelled all the main items off the orders and dispatched the socks at £2.99 plus £4.99 postage!

Most likely down the the style, I find their running shoes really comfy but I couldn't walk with adi superstars as they also cut into my foot

sam_of_london

No all brands have different ranges . Sports direct and Tkmaxx have more of the lower range ones. It is like Intel makes both Celeron and I9 CPUs . While the performance on celeron is poor , and I9 is excellent , there is lots of price difference. People also tend to take more care of expensive items .

Gollywood

I'm certain Adidas make substandard stuff only for SportsDirect

Bushes

Oh I have no proof, except they were the most uncomfortable ones I've ever worn. Bought in the shop, my size, after a few weeks they cut my feet to ribbons. In conclusion, never again.

sam_of_london

I love my red addidas bought from them . Do you think trading standards will let such a big chain sell fakes ? Definitely not fake . I see the fakes every week in Sunday market being sold by small traders so know the difference .

deal_breaker123

I ordered a lot of things online and they are crap quality. Even if someone paid me to take them I wouldn’t. Paid £4.99 for shipping and return stuff back I had to pay for postage for returns to get a refund or a store credit if returned in store. The credit is not even put on a card. It’s just a receipt. It sucks. Advice. Don’t get them.

foxykelli

No I think you still can....it says.... E-Vouchers will be issued for and can be redeemed on new season, sale/clearance items. I am assuming they mean like multibuy promotions ie 2 for £10 etc.

whathesmeg

Its a bit like trying to spend a £5 off £40 voucher in Lidl, the shopping trolley is full before you get to £40 LOL. Sports Direct has ruined some brands, I used to buy Karrimor hiking trainers but the soles are so hard and very slippery on wet surfaces so I stopped buying them.

johnson293

So you have to spend £50 to get a £10 voucher but have to place another order and spend more money with them to use the voucher(s)? Wow... some deal. Mike Ashley, savior of the high street. (poo)

jsty3105

Best to avoid unless really desperate. A 12mm top is poor quality and table tennis balls bounce very poorly on that type of thickness. Donnay is also a lower scale table tennis brand focusing on the budget end of the scale so not particularly known for quality or reliability. Maybe better to get a mid sized table from a known brand like Joola for around £150 Some buying guides: https://www.tabletenniscoach.me.uk/guide-to-buying-a-table-tennis-table/ https://www.experttabletennis.com/best-table-tennis-tables/

markgray1

It’s in two pieces, but they are large I have it stowed away in garage till next year

bccben

Do you keep it up most of the time then? I'm guessing it's not very easy to stow away once it's folded up. Edit: Just had a better read of the page and it sounds like it's easier to move around than I thought (didn't realise it completely splits into two halves). Would still be quite interested to know the answer though.

markgray1

Hi- there are no wheels, just legs. It’s quite heavy to move the two pieces, probably 2 people job to set up but is of good build quality. Solid once erected

johnf007

Hi. Just wondering how you move the table? I have looked at the photos and is it just 2 individual halves. I can't see any wheels.
