Watch your fingers. I have these and they can easily take your fingers off if you are not careful

Got a mate that's worked with Table/Circular/Chop saws all his life. Lathes, Mills, etc. Name a 'dangerous' tool & he's used it, properly.
    Two fingertips missing.
    Not from the 'dangerous' tools...
    Tape measure incident.

    Shudder.

I’ve got the 5m version of these recently and to be honest it’s a bit rubbish, anything over 3M and the tape will bend with its own weight, it’s creased all over the place with light use, I will have to pay the extra and get the fatmax version like my previous one

Thanks for posting. At £7 Ive ordered this set to replace my old identical tapes, but, like yours, mine creased a lot, and tore into a finger-slicing saw-edge. I rate fatmax stuff, but £16! 4 times the price essentially!

See how long it takes for these to get nicked in the workshop, probably before they arrive!

Not a bad deal. Never £20 though. £11.99 standard on Screwfix

£10 at Toolstation. Or was when I bought mine. Had enough of Screwfix prices, sometimes even B&Q is cheaper. They cornered the market and now they get to be bandits. Toolstation generally have better quality generics too, when their and Screwfixes catalogue matches up.

Good price, and I've ordered a set and voted hot, but the old one I had didn't fare very well - the tape got a permanent kink, then a small tear that could slice your finger just by looking at it.

Interested to know of better options.

I have these, they are quite sharp and have caused me a few cuts

The 5 meter is £1.99 in farmfoods I bought 6 last week to keep in the van for the apprentice as he keeps losing them!
