This looks like a cracking deal thank you! I bought the Pulse Elite recently for PS5 and immediately regret it. Constant disconnects and not the most comfortable to wear, hoping these will fare better, especially seeing as they're not much more at this price.

Agreed! Get the philips fidelios the next time they are on offer and slap on a mod mic.

I had these, returned them. They had to be unplugged+plugged in for the microphone to work, which when it did was ridiculously good and steelseries headsets are the most comfortable as well.

Unfortunately this bug is present in the wired and wireless versions.

Bought the wireless one last week, awful sound quality, probably since it's wireless, it was okay with the software but the software is bloaty af.

Left a bad taste in my mouth

Steelseries Sonar is not that bad. You need to configure it correctly. Anyway I'm using Logitech G Pro X wireless with my pc. It is the best for footsteps.

Further you can't expect much better sound without EQ or Sonar. (edited)

Steel series mic on £200 headset was worse than a £15 one. After that I’ll never touch them again. Always check with your friends on the mic quality. They cheap out on because it’s the only thing that is not perceivable to most buyers….
Both HyperX I’ve had for £25 have been waaaaayyyy better on mic quality (though not wireless)

They most likely purposely make the mic lower quality, so you buy one of their separate microphones, and get into their ecosystem

You can get the Xbox one at the same price from Argos now
