As far as I can tell, one of the cheapest real mechanical switched keyboards around.
Red linear switches, faux RGB lighting.

  • UK ISO Layout (pictures are US version but UK one ships)
  • Comes with keycap puller under the keyboard.
  • Anti ghosting/N-Key Rollover
  • Gaming mode (disables Windows key)
  • USB A interface

I just had one delivered and I'm really impressed. Very solid, doesn't bend. Satisfying typing and gaming experience. Feels like the entire top is metal and gives it a lot of rigidity and weight. Doesnt feel cheap.

Great spare keyboard, or for those who want mechanical on a budget.

Got it for a tenner before Christmas, well worth the money! Probably will get a spare one, if available for collection

What does the 'faux RGB lighting ' refer to? (edited)

Not 'real' addressable RGB. Just pretty lights.
  3. DrDangleberry's avatar
Is there an option to turn the lights off, or just to white?

Just picked mine up. Not plugged in yet but feels sturdy as someone else said, nice weight to it. But the keys feel cheap, the texture of the plastic I mean.
Of course for £7... Still a bargain

Yup, and you can easily replace those cheap keycaps too with the built-in key puller under it.

There is a £5 charge to collect??? Is this a joke???
    Blackhorse's avatar
Yea that's how I got me £5 voucher off my next purchase
  10. jewelie's avatar
Dammit. I'm trying to reduce the number of keyboards we have, not increase them. I will resist!

I don't understand how Game is still in business - everytime I go in the staff are always having a conversaion with each other and I have to interrupt them to get any service. They usually look at me like I've asked for something illegal and then proceed to tell me to check the internet...

It's more like Toys R Us in there these days than an actual video game shop.

Reserved for collection! No brainer for the price 😄

Thanks for posting, I have a £5 voucher I have been burning to spend from a collect in store purchase
Chances of picking this up for £2 cash??

Sons both using these and although they're not aficionados with keyboards I don't get any complaints (and ours were bought~£20/each)

    £7 is a no-brainer price. (edited)

    Reserved 2 😁. Thanks.

Bought 2 as my corsair keyboard is looking very worn and I don't game as much to warrant an expensive fancy one. Will give the spare to a friend if any good.

Just picked up two, for the price, you can't really go wrong. You can use the scroll lock button to toggle the lights, typing on it now, its a lot quieter than my Filco blueswitch, but not too quiet.

For £7 - you really can't go wrong!

Sorry, edited for fixing (damn you autocorrect! )
  19. bryanhaines399's avatar
It would be rude not to get 1 or 3 for that price. Cheers

You can click to reserve and collect I believe so have reserved one.

Got a filco blue switch that I've had for a long time, the geek/nerd in me wants another one just to swap it out and have some lights on the keys now and then.

£4.99 for collection (do one!) whichever store I chose, how are you getting it for £7 collected?
    RedXI's avatar
    Pay when you collect.

How loud are they? Would like mechanical for work but the clacking annoys office mates
    pourradass's avatar
Not totally silent but no loud clicking either. These are red keys

Thanks op! Was after a new keyboard as mine was a bit worn

£7 is worth it for the keys or just key caps alone bargain, thanks for sharing!

Bought it before when offer 4.99. Good for the price even 7.
  26. Manos_de_diamante's avatar
Grabbed one today, it has a nice weight to it and keys are good (won't compare to your more premium switches) but it's definitely a great entry point into mechanical keebs. Unbeatable deal imo, original price sticker says 14.99, would have been worth it even at that price.

Yes, makes you realise the insane mark-up some of those other manufacturers must be pocketing

Well... according to the GAME site my local store had stock but I wasn't able to reserve or even clock and collect. So I took a chance and went in my lunch hour and they had two left in stock.

I took my £5 voucher from a previous purchase I collected there, but they wouldn't take it! Apparently the till system had been upgraded but I could use it at another branch 25 miles away

Anyway, got two for £14 and will have a moan at GAME HQ.

I don't see GAME lasting until Christmas personally.

My GAME inside Sports Direct now prints the receipts as if it's Sports Direct so definitely changed their system. I think that might be part of them stopping pre-owned etc, everything is as if it's just Sports Direct just a few signs in the store, and at least at mine they still have separate staff as well.

Don't think they'll close to be honest they're just a brand under the Ashley banner at this point, I'm sure it makes them money. Whether they'll keep the specific GAME staff etc ... Who knows.

I realise a few people said that these were pretty good keyboards but taking it out the box I was still surprised at how nice it looks. The keys feel nice, not tried it yet.

Edit: Big thumbs up to Evri for leaving the box at my door. I happened to check my email over an hour later and saw that it had been delivered. I've had stuff sit outside my door for 10 hours when Evri have done this before. I'm in a flat where I'm never far from my front door and no doors closed, so they either didn't knock or used a feather touch to knock. (edited)

I got one of these when they were a fiver. Amazing keyboard tbh. All the keys are supposedly individually customisable. I haven't done it, but it's seriously cool as hell keyboard. Weighty too....

I totally agree, I collected mine on Tuesday and I couldn't be happier for the price.

Can anyone understand the instructions? How do you customise the LED illumination?
    Usman_Bashir's avatar
You can't customise per se, you can click on the scroll lock button which will change how the LED's will behave.
