To be honest this is one of those thing's I'm going to leave in the past, I loved my Commodore computers back as a child but today not so much.

Same. Had this on my wishlist since release, but I know the games will just be rubbish. Leave the fond memories intact, as you say. (edited)

Using Amiberry you can put that unused Christmas gift of a Raspberry Pi to good use.

    I'd recommend PiMIGA 3. It's everything you'd have ever wanted & more.

This is fantastic, if you owned a Amiga back in the day and you want plug and play then this is the system for you, and you can add all the games you want now that it has been updated the read ADF format, love this, like owning a Amiga all over again, and i am going to add Atari St games to mine next.

    Pure nostalgia heaven, love it.

Just grab the amiga emulator for your PC or buy a real one on fleabay for not much more.
Speaking from personal experience I tend to play the PC emulator more that I use the 3 fully working real ones that I own.

A1200 and CD32 have rocketed in price the last few years so not close to the cost of this anymore. WinUAE runs great on even modest PCs though (I think that's exactly what this is) so a good option.

On a side note Mouse is USB and available separately for £17 if anyone interested. Don't think I could use now without a scroller but if it's true to the original then that was a bloomin good mouse, do miss the big buttons and the feel of it and everything compared to standard mice that followed.

Yes, but it's not the same size as the original, even if it looks the same - It's about a third smaller.

Also (and quite rightly) it's a optical mouse, not a roller ball type like the original.

Always sounds fun until you get it home and the games turn out to be.a massive disappointment and totally unplayable.

This era is pretty ancient now

I still enjoy playing Pac-man so I don’t know how an Amiga can be disappointing.

Just by chance, do you remember a similar game, but a card game, for PC called Lady Luck or something like it. Impossible to Google it seems, was likely a Win 95/98 game.
