This book is great for home made curries. Easy to find ingredients. I find the boys a little irritating on TV but this book is great. Try the lamb kofta!

    Thanks. 99p can't go wrong.

For all the purist's out there: My in-laws were a mixture of North and Southern Indian... None of them cooked. They had maids. The most recent maid (amazing women with the patience of a saint) was from Sri Lanka. Nearly everywhere is fusion...

Yes, there are some very traditional recipes out there for every culture, but books like this are a great welcoming to tastes of the world for many people.

    Peace (drop mic) 😘 (edited)

Don't agree, Sri Lankan cuisine is not the same as punjabi and it is highly unlikely any of the stuff in this book resembles an authentic curry, whether it be from Bangalore or Bognor Regus.

It might not be very authentic but the most important thing is whether you cook the recipes. I have a very authentic Chinese cookery book but haven't done a single recipe, mainly due to how hard the ingredients are to get. (edited)
