About this deal

2 Tile Pro tracker tiles. These are the ones with greater Bluetooth range and replaceable battery.

Notes: Google's own "Find My" network is coming soon and may give better coverage if a Tile goes out of Bluetooth range. Apple and Samsung have their own versions which might also have a better network than Tile.

"POWERFUL TRACKER - Tile helps you keep track of your things. The Tile Pro streamlined shape hangs great on keys, bags or luggage. Use our free app to find them
FIND NEARBY - Use the Tile app to ring your Tile when it’s within Bluetooth range or ask your Smart Home device to find it for you
FIND FAR AWAY - When outside of Bluetooth range, use the Tile app to view your Tile’s most recent location on a map
FIND YOUR PHONE - Double press the button on your Tile to make your phone ring, even when it’s on silent
NOTIFY WHEN FOUND - Enlist the help of the Tile Network to help find your things. If your Tile is lost, add your contact information so you can be reached when someone scans the QR code on your lost Tile
ANDROID, IOS & VOICE ASSISTANT COMPATIBLE - Find your things with the free Tile app on both iOS and Android devices.Tile also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri
TECH SPECS - Water-Resistant (IP67 rated), Up to 1-year replaceable battery, Up to 400 ft / 120 m Bluetooth range"

Not a bad price for a pack of 2. Be aware though that with the Android find my device network coming later this year (hopefully), non compatible finders are likely to become marginalised.
Why rely on everyone with the tile app on their phones (and importantly running at the time you need it), when every single Android phone will be able to help you locate your lost keys etc.
IIRC older devices such as these cannot be part of that network.

    finally, a good "be aware".

Hot from me. I recently bought 2 of these for £50. I'm aware they may or may not stand the test of time, but thieves aren't going to wait for me to make a decision before stealing my stuff. So I went with the option available now, not some beta Google service they might scrap with no notice (like Google+ or Goggle Podcast). Also Tile allows you to disable the "alert the thief" feature Apple and Samsung force on you. Will Google do the same?

I have plenty of Tiles, not getting anymore and I will shift to the Google solution. Fair point about Google dropping services although I think this is one where if it takes off will be tough to drop as it's a remaining area where Apple have a real advantage over Android.
I tried (inadvertently) a competition between a cheap airtag clone and a tile.
On one trip my luggage was left at Gatwick on the way out, so I put the airtag and the tile (from our keys) in the luggage on the way back. When we were waiting for our luggage at Gatwick the airtag showed it had already arrived - put the tile into lost mode.
Luggage appeared and I forgot all about it. Got all the way home before tile chirped to tell me it was located!

Btw - I don't trust a tile particularly if the device it is tracking is stolen. What likelihood that the thief has the tile app?
I do trust it to tell me that I have left my wallet at home though - has saved a lot of panic over the years
Btw - Alexa supports tile - so no device needs be left at home. Hope that they also support the Google solution. (edited)

Hmmm same price as an airtag but vastly inferior? Why wouldnt you just get airtags?
