sorted byTri band vs. Dual Band. In a nutshell, Tri Band is better than a dual band, especially if you are using Wireless backhaul. Wireless backhaul is how the Mesh nodes communicate with each other unless you want to physically connect them with an ethernet cable.
Tri band will have a dedicated wifi channel that only the Mesh nodes use to transfer data between the nodes. Dual band the same 5Ghz channel, is used for devices and the Mesh nodes.
