Had for 6 months now, only needed to reboot once for firmware update. Decent handover from unit to unit when meshing. App is good with a 1 click network optimisation, putting you on the least congested band or each 2.4 and 5ghz. Overall impressed

Hi not sure if you're the right person to ask but I'll ask anyway. I have a TP Link Router (Archer AXE75) and have set it up. It works flawlessly and I get the desired speeds. However for some reason every night at the same time (around 2am) the internet disconnects for like a minute). It happens literally every night. During the day it works flawlessly, no drop outs. So do you have any idea why this happens? The modem is the hub 3. I'm thinking maybe the modem is auto restarting every night? I have set the router up to auto reboot every morning. Don't see how that could cause issues with the modem? I've changed the ethernet cable, switched off and on the modem and router, I had an access point with the same name and thought perhaps it was that causing the issue. Replaced it with a OneMesh Powerline adapter and it still happens. (edited)

Have had these for about a year
Definitely solid although I use mine with the PlusnetHub and these effectively just WiFi no router connection.
New IOT Only network is a nice feature for sure.
Did have issues with disconnects on some devices but disabling beam forming helped there.
Lack of 3rf channel for mesh means there is some (limited) congestion possibly on the WiFi bands which is a shame.
Easy to use app, can control what device connects to what node and what band on which is also very nice as well as all the usual scheduled reboots blocking etc
    Speeds are very good overall.
If you can ethernet backhaul then you're definitely golden with these

    Are these any good?

I've got the Deco M5 with Virgin 200Mb and I'm upgrading to 1Gb Community Fibre.

Would it be worth the upgrade for a 2000sqft Victorian House?

I've got these x54 nodes, they've been totally solid. They are all hardwired to the router, I just use them as WiFi nodes with no routing.
You can mix and match different deco nodes together, so I'm on the look out for other nodes to add in for other areas of the house
