Postcode checker offers me no idea if it is available, with or without vpn. States that it covers my county, but will not go into detail. I hate the idea of "just ring us and let our sales staff pressurise you=

Use bidb.uk/ and enter your postcode. It will then tell you the infrastructure service providers in your area which if you don't have FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) will give you an idea if it is planned.

Use thinkbroadband.com/ and at the top of the page Find a Provider and enter your postcode

There is also the BETA Openreach checker which gives planned dates on FTTP. Mine is planned between now and December 2026

    openreach.com/fib…ker

Lastly for any poor sucker like myself who moved from a 10Gb (10,000Mb) provider area (YouFibre. I only needed 500Mb so that's what I had) to potato land Internet with less than 80Mb use this BT Wholesale check to check the High / Low speeds and the Downstream Handback Threshold(Mbps) which is the minimum guaranteed speed (not all ISPs adhere to minimum so make sure you find one that does)

i think the Three 5G broadband deal is better than this - no installation and no cables

Sounds like they just resell BT Openreach network so aren't expanding 'their' network at all.

Clue: How many "Trooli" engineers/vans would you see messing at green cabinets?

No it's not, I've BT pure fibre and it's not available for my address

I've seen their vans around my area but it stops at the end of my estate unfortunately .... Or I would have jumped on this!

Its a bit odd, the nearest big town to their head office is not covered, Maidstone. According to google maps my house is 11 miles from their head office. Not on their taking orders or coming soon lists either.

I suspect Maidstone council annoyed them/told them to get knotted or similar.

We live in Maidstone and have it.

Hometown is covered, but they stop at number 15 on one street, they live further up - barely.

Contacted them and no plans to resolve.

BT FTTP planned so will go with them second able to.

All the odd numbered houses can get it on my street, but all the evens cannot. How does that work then?

So both my next door neighbours either side of me can, but me in the middle of them cant? Confused. (edited)

I find it interesting, they are unable to provide me full Fibre in Maidstone when the head office is in Kings Hill. I know they rely on OR Network but the best part is that I am already on FTTP 1Gbps with BT on the OR Network. How bizarre, Perhaps there database is not up to date

If what their engineer told me is correct they run on their own network and target area's that are not covered or wont be covered by open reach FTTP for some time. I suspect they don't want to pay for a cable only for people to switch to BT a year later.

I have had mine for over 3 years now and the service has been perfect. I think my village is not due to be upgraded until 2026.

I got a government grant for my installation

Probably worth putting "across the South, South East & East Anglia" in the description. Save a bit of time for folk. Great deal for those that can get it.

Weird with the code they still want to charge me a £120 install fee
