sorted byI am SMGREEN1969. (Simon) and you have all certainly kept me busy for the past 10 days or so....
To answer a few questions. I will often go off line in the evening. This enables me to catch up and clear any backlogs...I'd never get close up if I didn't. I currently remain offline overnight otherwise I'd never be able to clear the backlog in the mornings. !!
I always try to return codes as quickly as possible. But When busy or when the server isn't working as it should there will inevitably be delays. On a whole most are happy with this. There are of course always a few who aren't but hey ho can,t keep everyone happy.
Any way. Thank you again for your custom, it is appreciated
Simon
Well, that's what I call future proofing. Mine only does 3g. On second thoughts, you'd best cancel it. Tesco will get confused and probably send you a tin of peaches instead.
While eBay states I am holiday - i'm not - please see the note on my eBay shop home page (and reply to any eBay message received)
The Motorola server isn't currently returning any codes - if sometimes stalls in the mornings - I have gone offline to avoid a growing backlog - I currently have about 50 in queue .....
So...if you see me off-line - check out my Shop home page - it'll give you the reason why
Simon
actually, the ones bought from Tesco ARE locked. here a whole thread confirming so https//ww…=29
the ones bought via P4U on payg are unlocked, heres a thread comfirming so hotukdeals.com/dea…=51.
so yeh, your main point is invalid. end of discussion.
One of these should do, I've heard they have other features too.

I should be on commission..but its just a friendly comment. No I don't know him other than via EBay.
Seeing that this phone has been given rave reviews and it will come with a 12 month warranty is a good enough reason for people to buy it rather than go down the second hand route.
Is it 16gb?
You realise this deal was posted specifically because people are using this on the Tesco Moto G?
.
2 stating - item not as described/not received - Easy to resolve - no IMEI number received and no response to any e-mail or eBay messages requesting it.......can't supply a code with no IMEI !!
1 Stating PHONE (yes PHONE - not code) still has not been received !!! - Really Einstein !!! - did you buy a phone or code ???
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE People - READ the listing - Supply the required information - you'll get what you ordered.....
I am a one man band - work from home and try to give the best service possible - but when I constantly have to battle against people who simply don't read the listing/make unreasonable demands/are rude I really have to wonder why I bother...
If I am off-line I can normally be contacted directly by e-mail - always happy to help when I can
Thanks
Simon
And what if you buy it simlocked from Tesco?
In answer to GiffGaff/O2 sim question. No, you cannot use them without unlocking. My wife is on O2. We had to unlock her Moto G too.
this probably wont effect the majority of users, but its still something that needs to be noted if you dont want to be waiting months for updates that an extra 15/30£ could have prevented.
That's not necessarily a bad thing. My Nexus 4 has got worse the more it gets updated.
Basically you'd be silly to go buy a second hand n4.
all you have to do is flash unbranded firmware onto it and you'll get OTAs like everyone else
I can confirm that phone was locked to Tesco.
Bought the unlock code from smgreen1969 on eBay for £2.04
Took all of 15mins for the code to come through.
Result = unlocked phone (_;)
Bargain!! Thanks OP
Any micro usb charger should be fine. Samsung's have a nice long wire but current outputs a little low so will take a bit longer to charge than some others.
If you didn't put the IMEI in the paypal message when buying (which I forgot to as well) then either send him an ebay message or directly to the email address in the listing. Don't do both because apparently that's confusing.
He responded really quickly to my ebay message because I forgot the paypal message as well

yes, Its permanent.
@Cal_G: Yes, it will work with any sim!
@Yokerbob: No, it does not.
@Fanimal: Go here and click Buy It Now. Of course, read the listing first. It has all the info you need.
1. Buy the phone.
2. Once you receive it, go t o:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/…283
And follow the instructions there.
3. Pop a new local sim card in it.
4. Take it to Bangladesh and put any sim in it.
5. Add some heat here.
Settings>Date&Time.
Judging by your rant on here, I can only guess the quality of your query if a code didn't work.
I've never found a better seller on eBay to deal with ever. If I need an unlock code he is the only one I'd go to as his communications have never been anything other than exemplary. Even when I've completely screwed up and misread instructions.
Ive also requested an unexpire
No... they only use the O2 network as their carrier.
If you're serious (my gullible sensor's a bit flaky today), the codes are unique to the device. You provide the serial number, they give you the code.
Can you share the link for that thread?
Link appears to be to a web site in $, is this any use to people from blighty?
not that i can see.
you do know that Tesco's has been OOS since the first day
