Another “company” selling in Amazon marketplace that is registered to an address with thousands of other companies… Good luck getting anywhere if this thing has a fault and you seek recourse.

Stop buying cheap electrical goods from these sort of outfits. Spend a few quid more and get one from a known seller with a proper UK presence.

I would be a bit wary as never heard of this make before and does not seem to have any reviews.

Think it's worth spending a little extra on a known make with a few reviews with electrical stuff.

Exactly what I said above. If your tech is cheap and nasty then maybe then, but I'd still not leave it plugged in and leave the house!

I wouldn’t trust unknown brands purely because they can be unsafe and can even catch fire in extreme circumstances

Yer, would not buy anything like this, a cheap phone charger burnt my house down whilst we where away on holiday, The fire brigade informed us that it had set fire to the curtains, unfortunately there was a bottle of nail varnish remover close by that did not help.

Would anybody recommend TOPK brand, same spec and similar price?

Chances are they just buy in products from the many Chinese manufacturers that will print any brand name their customers request on it.

This was an entirely different TOPK branded product - gov.uk/pro…028 (edited)

Great offer, scare mongerers can be ignored. I don't tend to have nail varnish, petrol, dynamite near my plug sockets. Great post OP!

Very awesome plug for £8 especially since it can output 20v which means laptop charging too. Will barely manage to hold a laptop charge if another device is charging off the other port though but £8 for a 40W PD/20V plug is crazy cheap. Must be the cheapest online right now.
    jamie60509's avatar
*if* it can output 20w as it claims, and not set fire to the house in the process!

I'd rather spend a few quid more for a reliable manufacturer (edited)

CE marked, so unless fake, which Amazon would be in real trouble, these should be fine.
    dmannn's avatar
Should also be UKCA marked now.

    Sold by osmanthus? Who?
    jamie60509's avatar
"Osmanthus fragrans Co., Ltd" apparently... sounds like they used to make fragrances before branching out into electronics!

So cheap the seller doesn’t even want to buy Amazon reviews!

Seems like they're trying to make a mark in the market. No reviews, but a solid price for what it is. If it can deliver as per claim, it's a great buy!

with modern devices, 30w is the min for me. I have plenty of 25w and this is 20w, so that is a very slow charge for modern device ie tablet, or s23 samsung

I hate how none of these cheap chargers are earthed, you have to spend like £70 to get a good one :/

I know, its so easy to get a shock off something made out of plastic, On a serious note mine arrived last night and is working fine, I will just have to make sure I wear a pair of well insulated rubber boots if I touch it lol. Once again thanks OP
