    I got the light blue one and it's a thing of beauty. It has a nice weight to it, the blade (55mm) is solid and sharp, the handle (100mm) is long in relation to the blade and has a matt finish that feels very different from other Victorinox pocket knives. Worth mentioning also that the sheepsfoot blade shape and the fact that it is non-locking and well under 3 inches long makes it much less likely you'll get into trouble with the law in the UK. Carrying a freshly cut bunch of gladioli from your garden in your back pocket will also help.

    If you order from Amazon you have to complete an age verification form online before your order goes through and show ID to the deliverer on arrival. Looks like it uses an Experian credit check service for the form. If they don't have you on their system, it doesn't matter how tatty your senior bus pass is, you don't get to play with this toy.

    This Victorinox garden knife with the curved blade is a better fit for pruning etc., not much more at £12.17

    A bit harder to sharpen, but definetely more comfortable to use.

    Good question - given that it's going to be left outside in the rain on many occasions.
    The whole construction should be fit for purpose.
