    Vodafone tell me they no longer do upgrades through third parties. They could not comment on why third parties continue to advertise 'upgrade' deals. Can anyone shed light on this?

    BS. They told me that, when I gave my 1 month notice on existing sim only contract. (Even though I didn't need to)

    When fact finding process etc, I rang Mobiles CS and they said you can upgrade after a certain number of months, think it was either 3 or 6 months.

    Done it past 2 years through Mobiles.co.uk. Last August 2022 and this August.
    You purchase through Mobiles.co.uk and they have a link with Vodafone who authorise it. (edited)

    I got this deal last year when it was 200gb of data, had no issues at all, in fact when I noticed I was only using 150gb a month on my home broadband I cancelled it and use the hotspot on my phone plus you usually get a free Costa and a £3 Morrisons voucher every month with the rewards

    For some reason I had 120gb last year, when I thought it was 100gb.

    This year I have 110gb. 80+20. Then 10gb for something?

    Yes, but vodafone offered me deal with eu roaming for £24 so unless you are constantly abroad this is a cracking deal (edited)

    Been using it for 3 years. Only issue I had were cheque not being received, but they re-issued another one. Happened once.

    Same experience. The disadvantage is remembering to submit the cashback claim, but I set a phone reminder

    Sadly, Vodafone see their paying customers as marketing opportunities, and constantly harass you with post, email, phone calls and text messages. Won’t be using them again.

    Easy enough to opt out of these things usually. I get the occasional letter for broadband but nothing too bad. Years ago they called me a few times to sell me a tablet but that soon stopped...

    Anyone know if you take the second line deal £10 for 100gb data and then two months in cancel your main contract. Do you still keep the additional sim at £10 for the 18months

    You can do this and cancel the original SIM in the cooling off 14 days.

    Just wondering if you can claim the cashback if you apply airtime reward credit to the account? Anyone successfully done this? I can see the the bill needs to be shown as fully paid to claim but can't see any exclusions in how it's paid. Thanks

    Yeah, i don't see that being an issue. When you send your bill, they just look to make sure you're still connected and paying.
