About this deal

Do love a Wera deal ,
I see this usually around £55 , i was tempted to buy 2 ,
But I've been waiting for a good deal on the plumbers set 3 ,
This includes the bit adapter, which looks like 20 notes

These are amazing. I've used mine daily on site for about 4 years (I'm an electrician). Got one for home as well. Being able to use it like a normal ratchet to lossen then turn it into a ratchet driver to quickly undo bolts is amazing. Being able to lock at 15deg is brilliant, it allows you to get into more difficult spaces and saves catching your knuckles on things. It's one of my favourite tools.

Halfords advanced are decent enough tools, but if your using your tools and abusing them daily it's worth paying the extra.

And if you think £43 for a 1/4 ratchet is expensive don't have a look at snap-on stuff. Chap I work for just bought 3 spanners (23/24/27) for £300

Got it, brilliant tool apart from an obvious (at least to me) fault. I use it almost every day in dusty/greasy environments, and grease ingress has caused the ratcheting mechanism to become erratic. No amount of cleaning seems to help. Facom on the other hand is IP rated, so I'll be seeing how that works.
Other than that, almost anything from Wera I'm a fan of.

A beauty a bonnie and a joy forever. I got this as part of a Wera 26pc kit 05051045001 for £43 about 3 years ago. Really nice to use and part of my go to kit. Would recommend.

I like the look of a swivel head ratchet for certain jobs.
I shall look for a 3/8" drive version, preferably from a quality brand at a slightly more interesting price.
