It always amazes me that there are dim-bulbs that do not know that trees have been a commercial crop in the West for centuries- before even the Age of mass Production. The "oh-noes, how dare they waste wood" crowd have to be the stupidest of all. What we should really focus on is the UK councils that use any excuse to cut down trees in our cities and towns, with no replacements planted, in order to purposely create Urban Blight.
