Generic make, we bought on a deal a few months ago for £278 (£430 - 20% ebay code + 20% ebay TCB deal). Similar on amazon.
    Thought that was a bargain.
    £250 for it is good.
Only installed last week (under cover in open garden room) - and its not "garden centre quality" but its pretty good - more comfortable than we thought it would be, and flexible layout (2 chairs, 2 loungers, one sofa and foot stools, double bed etc etc)

But it is cheap n cheerful but better than expected.

I’ve had this set a couple of years and it’s still doing well considering it is out all year round. The seating arrangement is so easily interchangeable and the bases are so light. I would highly recommend

Be cautious of cheap garden furniture. My experience of cheaper garden furniture is that it is notably more prone to rusting and colour fade, also cushions tend suck, but not always. And reviews tend to be from people who have just bought it, set it up and love it, not from ones that are binning it 2-3 years later because of rust.

What I would say is that you can treat for rust, so if savvy you can still go cheap, but accept a bit more TLC could be needed and just add a rust treatment on day one if you can. If you want furniture that needs minimal upkeep, you will likely need to pay much more, get coated aluminum set etc. Aluminum doesn't rust though can erode, but is far more hardy in this respect - does blow around in the wind easier though!

There are always exceptions though at both ends of the spectrum. But I think if you can find comfy cheap furniture that isn't long term hardy, you can prolong its lifespan with intervention. (edited)
