Fill your garden with colour and create a vibrant display with our grow kit. Grow cosmo, coreopsis and aster using this kit and attract beautiful butterflies in your lawn area. Suitable for indoor and outdoor planting. Growing instructions: Place coir discs into the bowl and add approximately 180ml of water. Allow water to fully absorb to create a soil-like consistency. Add moist coir to each pot, thinly sow 1-2 seeds per pot and lightly press down to cover. Pots can be placed back into plastic clamshells to act as a mini-propagator until seedlings appear. Excess seeds can be stored for future sowings. Water regularly as needed. Transplant - Seedlings can be hardened off and transplanted into the garden when large enough to handle them and once the risk of frost has passed. Grow bonsai plants at home with our grow-your-own bonsai trio kit. This trio kit contains sweetgum, pine and redbud, a vibrant collection of three varieties that make stunning bonsai. It comes with three pots, six coir discs, and three sachets of seeds. Place coir discs into the bowl and add water. Allow water to absorb to create a soil-like consistency. Add moist coir to each pot, thinly sow one seed per pot and lightly press down to cover. Pots can be placed back into plastic clamshells to act as a mini-propagator until seedlings appear. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into larger pots. Once established, submerge the pot into a bowl of tepid water every few weeks and then allow the pot to drain. Pruning encourages growth and shapes your bonsai and should be carried out in autumn and early winter, as the plant begins to go dormant and the branches are more visible. Wiring is a technique to train and style your bonsai tree. Wrap bonsai wire around the branches you intend to bend and then carefully manipulate them into shape. Remove wires after a few weeks to prevent the wire from cutting into the growing branches. Prune from three years once established.
