Got these and they're nothing like any tempura I've ever had before. Taste and texture is a lot more like breadcrumbs than batter, which is fine for me but not for others in my family who only like batter. More fish for me I suppose.

They used to be quite nice, but the last 6 months or so the fish has been horrible. Voted hot as good price, but won't be buying.

We never buy any frozen products described as just 'Fish' , don't like the taste. Now if they were Cod or Haddock that would be different. That said this is a good deal if you like 'Fish' (edited)

And, sadly, so would the price! (edited)

Alaska pollock fillets in batter 58%........It is fish and purchasing conserves more popular stocks. It's the remaining 42% batter/bread(or whatever) that worries me. so Enjoy. HOT OP. I'm in. (edited)

Great deal but would be better if you could mix and match

You can but I picked this out as it combines a good club card price and the multi buy.

Price-wise it's tempting but the reviews on Tesco & Waitrose only give it 3/5.

TBF I suspect most of those will have been at a much higher price than this.

It seems to be what Tesco have decided to do as the vast majority of their club card offers now are multi buys. The best ones are the ones that combine a club card price and multi buy and TBF they are mix and match.

Pretty sure the other supermarkets will be following Tesco's lead here (edited)

Tempura and basal are pound for pound the cheapest fish we sell in this country and there's a reason for that
