    When my Zanussi washer finally throws in the towel I do wonder if they're still an independent design or if they're using the same innards as other makes.

    Your Zanussi washer is almost certainly an Electrolux, as is my 14 year old zanussi. They have been owned by Electrolux for some time, as is AEG. They also make John lewis own brand machines.

    That's why I bought a zanussi back then, however Zanussi now seems to have been moved down to a more of a low budget brand, so I'll probably buy something else next time.

    One good thing about have an old Electrolux like mine, is you can get a download of one of the electrolux service manuals and the repair guide etc, which makes tracking down faults and fixing it easier. (edited)

    Just got rid of my zanussi washer on Saturday as it had started leaking at the bottom. I'm gutted, it must have been around 15 yrs old. Never let me down. If I had seen this I would have gone for it. I would defo recommend

    Must admit, it looks very similar to the beko I've just bought (edited)
